Grassroots Offshore payroll and HR administration system

TCB Currently develops and markets the payroll package, Grassroots. Grassroots is an offshore payroll and Human Resources administration system which covers the Jersey, Guernsey, Isle Of Man and Gibraltar, and is fully compliant with these jurisdiction's legislation.

Grassroots is fully scalable and is used to run payrolls with employee populations from 10 to 700, with optional database platforms to suit the existing infrastructure.

There are over 60 individual installations currently running the Grassroots software, paying over 10,000 employees through weekly, 4 weekly or monthly payrolls.

We offer customisation to the base package to fit in with your requirements, from bespoke reporting to integration with internal or other 3rd party applications. We are also able to offer data migration services should you wish to bring on board an existing set of data.

TCB Legal Information System

It is a principle of the Free Access to Law Movement that legislatures should make legal information such as case law and legislation freely available to its country’s citizens online. We have developed software over the last 10 years that supports legal information institutes in this objective. Initially used by the Jersey Legal Information Board, our software has since been adopted in the Caribbean and is now available to other Legal Information Institutes in jurisdictions worldwide.

Funding of legal information initiatives is often a problem. Our software is designed to blend free access to legislation and case law with subscriber-only access to premium content of interest to professionals.

Features include:

  • Publishing of legislation and judgments direct from Microsoft Word in XML format
  • Conversion of existing legislation and judgments in legacy file formats
  • Free, full and anonymous public access to most of the content
  • Ability to identify content that should only be available to subscribers, with multiple access levels
  • Content publishing in HTML and PDF/A formats
  • Email notification service
  • RSS feeds
  • Pay-per-view access with integration to credit card payment services
  • Support for content management systems including Microsoft SharePoint
  • Built-in facilities for searching for judgments within the content database
