What We Have Done

We have taken the following steps to improve the accessibility of this website:

• Colour contrast: All text elements use colours that meet or exceed the WCAG 2.1 SC 1.4.3 minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text. Our accessible text green (#007A5E) achieves a contrast ratio of approximately 5.2:1 against white backgrounds.
• Text sizing: All text is set at a minimum of 0.75rem (12px) and scales correctly when the browser zoom level is increased, in accordance with SC 1.4.4 (Resize Text).
• Semantic structure: All pages use correct HTML landmark elements — <header>, <nav>, <main>, and <footer> — to enable screen reader navigation by region.
• Heading hierarchy: Each page has a clear and logical heading structure (h1 → h2 → h3) to aid navigation for screen reader users.
• Language declaration: The page language is declared in the HTML element (lang="en"), enabling screen readers to apply the correct pronunciation rules.
• Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements (links, buttons, form fields) are reachable and operable via keyboard alone, with visible focus indicators.
• Alternative text: Meaningful images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked with aria-hidden="true" to avoid cluttering the accessible name tree.

Known Limitations
